Thomas Phillips, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Phillips founded and was President of DuckTek, Inc., a multimedia entertainment company, from 1996 to 1998. DuckTek produced the table-top games Milanda, The Martian String, and Datasome, as well as publishing the popular Internet game Anturian Mines and various client-branded web games. He has had over 20 years of experience in software development for the defense industry, and has served in the United States Marine Corps and Army National Guard. Mr. Phillips maintains memberships in the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA); American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS); American Mathematical Society (AMS); American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP); Association for Computing Machinery (ACM); and the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). He holds a BA in Psychology, an MS in Computer Information Systems, has done graduate studies in Public Administration, and has extensive linguistic experience.
Steve Rixse, Chief Growth Officer
Mr. Rixse has worked over 24 years in sales and marketing following five years in finance. With extensive experience in the information technology market he turned around and rebuilt several sales organizations into top performers. His 19 years in senior management included Director of Public Sector at GemStone Systems, Director of Eastern Region Sales at GlobalSight, Vice President of Federal Sales at Vista Information Technologies, Federal Region Vice President at Sterling Software, and Director of DoD and Intelligence Sales at Platinum Technology. Mr. Rixse holds a BS in Economics and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Lance Zechinato, Executive Producer
Mr. Zechinato is an accomplished software engineer, artist, musician and composer. His lifetime of seeing the world through the eyes of an artist has gained him the reputation of being an innovative, outside-the-box thinker. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and has released two albums under the moniker of Goocher. His hit song "Hope," from the 2000 album "Germinate," rose to #1 on the Progressive Rock chart at the original incarnation of MP3.com, and made it to #5 on the Instrumental Rock chart. Mr. Zechinato has over 17 years of experience in software development and has worked with dozens of technologies, including the most recent Web 2.0 technologies that enable and encourage rich user experiences delivered through the web and other resource constrained platforms.
